Rumour: DeGale v Eubank Jr in talks for December

It’s been announced today that Chris Eubank Jr will be back in action in just over a week’s time, when he faces JJ McDonagh as chief support to the WBSS final between George Groves and Callum Smith.

That fight takes place on September 28th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  Perhaps more interestingly, people are now starting to talk about Eubank’s future plans for the remainder of 2018.

James DeGale also makes a return to the ring at the end of this month, and now some are putting two and two together and linking the pair up for a very intriguing potential fight this winter.  DeGale has teased that he has “something nice and juicy lined up in December”.

The two Brits have history having sparred together before, and it’d make for another great fight to close off a packed calendar year.
