Fury and Wilder sign to fight on Dec 1

[Update: 22/9 – 8:00am] Deontay Wilder has now also posted that he’s signed a contract for the fight, which is supposedly to take place on Dec 1st.  A full promotional tour will kick-off the official build up in London on October 1st.

There may be a significant heavyweight world championship fight happening tomorrow night, but it looks like another big one may be set to steal the spotlight with a proper Fury vs Wilder announcement surely close.

Tyson Fury has been back on Instagram, claiming that “shit just got serious” and that he’s put pen to paper on his “end of the deal” for the mega-fight against WBC belt holder Deontay Wilder.

With Anthony Joshua defending the main crown against Alexander Povetkin at Wembley Stadium this weekend, there seems like no better time than now to reveal another superfight for boxing’s most glamorous division.

The proposed fight has been “on” for weeks, but hopefully we’re finally set for full confirmation early next week.
