Another Saturday in September, another blockbuster world title bout.

Here’s our brief guide to some of tonight’s biggest fight cards:

Joshua v Povetkin
@ Wembley Stadium – London, England
UK: Sky Sports Box Office, US: DAZN

There seems to be a strange lack of buzz around the boxing world for this one, despite 2 of the top heavyweights in the world battling for the true world championship in the sport’s most iconic division.

He might not be Wilder or Fury, but Alexander Povetkin is a genuine contender to Anthony Joshua’s throne, and this is a fight not to be slept on in our opinion.  [Editor’s Note: I’m sticking my neck out here and picking Povetkin for the upset]

The undercard looks very promising as well, with exciting heavyweight banger David Price a late addition to the bill against dangerous Russian Sergey Kuzmin.

Elsewhere, unbeaten talent Lawrence Okolie fights for Matty Askin’s British Cruiserweight belt on the Wembley pay-per-view show.

There’s also a tasty rematch between Luke Campbell and Yvan Mendy on the card.

Anthony Joshua vs Alexander Povetkin – Heavyweight World Championship
Luke Campbell vs Yvan Mendy – 12 rounds, Lightweight
Matty Askin vs Lawrence Okolie – 12 rounds, British Cruiserweight
Sergey Kuzmin vs David Price – 10 rounds, Heavyweight
Shakhram Giyasov vs Julio Laguna – 8 rounds, Welterweight

Culcay v Bejaran
@ MBS Arena – Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany
Germany: RBB

In Germany, middleweight Jack Culcay takes on Rafael Bejaran as the former looks to put himself back in the mix at world level.

Szeremeta v Diaz
@ Hala Sportowa im. Olimpijczykow – Lomza, Poland
Poland: TVP

17-0 middleweight Kamil Szeremeta defends his European strap against Ruben Diaz.  The 38 year old Spaniard hasn’t lost since 2002 while the Polish home favourite will be looking to hold onto the belt he won in Italy earlier this year.
